For residency and fellowship training, PurpleCAT references ACGME, NRMP, AAMC and relevant specialty organizations. Compensation summaries cite the source and type of estimate rather than treating every figure as equivalent.
Dates and Comparability
Historical Match outcomes are identified by cohort and year. Salary estimates distinguish survey averages, modeled base salaries, and BLS wage medians. Missing comparisons are not filled using unrelated specialties.
Educational Scope
MCAT explanations and medical career guides support study and career research. Training requirements, salary offers, application expectations and clinical scope vary by program, region and year.
