About PurpleCAT

PurpleCAT is an interactive MCAT® study workspace built for pre-medical students preparing for the Medical College Admission Test. The platform brings together a structured content library aligned to the AAMC's official content outline, focused practice drills, flashcards with spaced repetition, a question bank with detailed explanations, and a visual learning suite for complex anatomical and biological systems.

Students can look up specific concepts, target weak spots with customized practice, train graph-reading skills in the Graph Gym, and track their mastery across all four MCAT sections: Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems, Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills, Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, and Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior.

PurpleCAT is built by a small team of educators and developers who believe that effective test prep should be flexible, data-driven, and accessible. The platform is designed to adapt to each student's study habits, whether they have five minutes between classes or five hours on a weekend. Every feature is grounded in the AAMC's published content outline, so students always know exactly what the exam expects and where they stand.
